Clement is a French - British Director and Cinematographer working across adventure / expedition, commercial and natural history filmmaking. He looks to combine high end cinematography with observational style documentary processes to tell stories that make an impact. He has worked across adventure sports and factual productions focused on human and environmental stories. He hopes that through his work people will learn to value and protect our wild places.

Clement has a BSc in Physical Geography specialising in environmental ecosystems and sustainable futures enabling him to engage at depth with the subjects that he films. I’m perhaps best known for high quality documentaries that follow remote expeditions and science missions in order to understand and better preserve our natural world. He has had the privilege to be trusted to produce work for the likes of National Geographic and Rolex.

Clement is based between the French Alps and Cheltenham, UK. He is a bilingual dual national with French and British passports, removing the need for European visa requirements. He is also fully vaccinated.

Clement is highly skilled at working in harsh environments from mountainous regions on glaciated terrain to remote islands in the tropics. He has knowledge in mountaineering techniques such as moving through glaciated terrain, ski touring and rope work management. Additionally, he has experience filming in and out of helicopters in real life rescue operations at over 3000m altitude. He is an experienced off-road driver having worked as a support crew vehicle driver on two North to South expeditions crossing Iceland, first in 2019 and then in 2021.

Documentary work of his has aired on networks such as Disney+, The Smithsonian and VICE. His commercial work has featured in print publications and campaigns worldwide.

Equipment: He owns a Sony FX6 and α7S III shooting package with a wide range of Sony lenses. An ideal pairing for documentary productions needing to meet broadcast requirements. He also has experience with professional cameras from both RED Digital Cinema and Canon. Other equipment he owns / operates include; DJI Inspire 2 w/ X5s & ProRes License, DJI Mavic 3, Sachtler Flowtech 75, full audio kits and a portable documentary lighting kit. Qualifications: - BSc in Physical Geography, with a focus in environmental ecosystems. - UK CAA, EU EASA, FR DGAC drone pilot operating the Inspire 2 aircraft. - Qualified REDucation at CVP on RED cinema cameras. - AIARE Avalanche Rescue Qualified. - Full drivers license.
