I am is a BAFTA-nominated London-based filmmaker who specialises in documentary. My films are raw, intimate, socially-conscious & visually distinctive - often hybridizing nonfiction & narrative elements; always underpinned by journalistic rigour. My directorial debut for NETFLIX THE DETECTIVE & THE DOG THIEF examined Britain's pet theft epidemic, gaining exclusive access on both sides of a unique crime to explore deeper themes of materialism & the impact of digital technology. An upcoming AMAZON premium docu-series sees me partner with Academy Award-winning director, here Executive Producer, Kevin McDonald - writing & directing on FOUR KINGS (w/t), exploring race, class, politics & cultural change via the the lives & rivalries of iconic 90s boxers Nigel Benn, Chris Eubank, Lennox Lewis & Frank Bruno. Before that, I produced the BAFTA-nominated CHANNEL 4 docu-comedy HOW TO SURVIVE A DICTATOR, which see comedian Munya Chawawa journey to Zimbabwe to make a documentary about their notorious dictator, Robert Mugabe.
