Following my great experiences with Aardman so far I was given the opportunity for a 4 week contract as a trainee camera assistant which gave me much greater knowledge as I was able to get much more hands on with the camera and software used at Aardman, additionally I was given the opportunity to use MOCO (motion control) which I found extremely interesting and gave me a greater appreciation for the craft.

This was my first trainee role as a camera assistant and was very valuable to me as it taught me the basics of the job, including use of the 1DX, software (Dragonframe pro, Reader and Aardline)and how they interlink together. This all helped opened my eyes to the industry with how everything is ran.
