I am seeking new opportunities within the creative industries. I started my creative journey composing and writing lyrics twenty-five years ago whilst at school, which lead to me working as a full time touring musician for several years.. I have since 2011 been writing scripts and in 2016 made it to the penultimate round of the BBC writers room. Since then I have had honourable mentions and won a couple of awards for script writing.As a further creative outlet I have written two children's book this year.Professionally I work as a content developer for Innovate UK, writing competition briefs for the innovation and technology industries.I have a wealth of professional experience in technical and large scale project work. this includes what was the second largest change programme at over £500million, where I was the implementation manager for the customer marketing department of a large UK building society.I have a high level of competency with IT systems and processes, and use a lot of tools to complete my work. This includes MS Office, Salesforce, Workday, Azure, Active Directory, Security and Networking.Creatives tools I am also experienced in using include Pro Logic X, DaVinci Resolve, Final Draft, Scrivener, ProWritingAid.I am coming into this with a fresh and keen interest in TV and Film production and willing to start at the bottom despite of advance level of transferable skills.That being said, I can use DaVinci Resolve and have been teaching myself colour grading (not just applying LUTS). I am experienced in using Final Draft and have completed 3 TV Pilots, working on 2 Features, and many comedy sketches using this tool.I have studied many script writing resource in my self learning journey and feel competent as a writer.
