A recent graduate with a First-Class Honours in English Literature and Film Studies from Trinity College Dublin, looking to launch a career in scripted development.Having completed work experience programmes with Hat Trick Productions, all3media, and Acorn Media (all in London), and Platinum Films in Pinewood Studios, I have developed skills conducting research, advancing story ideas, and writing script reports for a variety of television series. I built on these by taking part in Screen Skills Ireland's Script Reading course, which focused on script coverage and development. I have since become a freelance script reader for Screen Ireland, the development agency for the Irish film, television, and animation industry.I have written for several student publications such as TN2 Magazine and the University Times and became Deputy Editor of the Trinity Film Review, Ireland's only student-run publication dedicated solely to the art of cinema. In 2020, I was named Features Writer of the Year (Arts and Popular Culture) at the Smedia Awards, while my writing has also featured in Film Matters, an academic journal celebrating the work of undergraduate film scholars worldwide.I have co-hosted an award-winning radio show and podcast for the past two years and a short film which I produced with friends was screened at the Lighthouse Cinema as part of the 2020 Dublin International Film Festival.
