About Me
Brian was a shooting researcher / digi tech on the Rip Off Britain Live series in Autumn 2022. Brian is a very valuable member of the team with a wealth of technical knowledge. He is able to take a subject and examine it in detail - prising out the issues to be addressed prior to shooting. Also on location he is a more that brilliant 2nd camera - and able to direct contributors and scenes as required, as well as producing the most beautiful, detailed and useful logs.
Hard working does not cover it, and Brian would be more than an asset to any production. Once you have him you will not want to let him go.
Brian worked for us on Rip Off Britain Live as a digital ingest technician. He took responsibility for ensuring all our media was where it needed to be, working closely with a major postproduction company and edit producers. He also oversaw a significant amount of archive research using BBC systems. His technological knowhow was very helpful in all sorts of ways throughout the production too. Brian also operated camera for us on numerous occasions (C300) and we had no concerns at all asking him to step up to take the lead on some of our shoots as more of a shooting researcher. With a positive attitude throughout, often on long days or challenging circumstances, Brian was a great addition to the team and I’d recommend him without question.
