Media influences people all around the world and has influenced me since a young age, but unlike the media influencing people subconsciously I have been determined to understand the media and the production behind it. I have studied media for 4 years at GCSE and A-Level and continued to study it at university because I appreciate how the piece of media is created and the portrayals behind them. I study Media Production at Nottingham Trent University and achieved a 2:1 in first year and a high 2:1 in second. I have acquired editing skills on Adobe photoshop, premier pro, Audition and After Effects. Due to my love for media, I am excited to get more and more experience within the industry. I have acquired certain skills within the working industry due to my many years of working experience. I have gained many quality skills, such as confidence, outstanding customer service, good communication, independence and leadership. I took 2 years out before going to university in which I worked as a concession manager. This allowed me to expand on my skills, acquire new skills and understand what is required in a business to achieve success. Taking 2 years out has allowed me to mature and appreciate my love for media further allowing myself to work to the best of my ability to achieve the degree I deserve and work towards a career I am passionate about.
