After working my way up at the BBC, I've been freelancing as a Producer Director, Series Director, Series Producer and Edit Producer for many TV Indies since 2009, working for BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky Arts, Sky History, BBC World News, Channel NewsAsia and Bloomberg TV.  I've also produced drama docs, dance programmes and international cinema relays.

I specialise in arts, music, history and human interest programmes but I enjoy seizing any opportunity for great storytelling. I work on one-offs and series, from specially shot shows to heavily archive-based documentaries. 

I enjoy everything about producing and directing, from developing and casting to location hunting, scheduling and the thrill of filming. I thoroughly enjoy the edit process, working with editors to create the magic, in an edit suite or remotely. Good communication skills and advanced preparation, together with the ability to change tack if necessary, makes teamwork a joy. 

I'm very organised and calm but I'm also a motivated and motivating team-player. My strong work ethic combined with an ability to write all kinds of treatments, running orders and scripts has proved successful with viewers and reviewers.  My programmes have been nominated for several awards and won a few.
