A determined and tenacious Director who goes out of his way to gain access to difficult institutions and has significant experience in maintaining relationships with contributors in extremely sensitive situations over long periods of time.Have won the Guild of Camera Professionals award twice for excellence in factual cinematography and have been nominated for a BAFTA for factual cinematography in 2018 and 2019. I was lucky enough to win the BAFTA Breakthrough Brit Award in 2020. Along with this I’ve also won four Royal Television Society Awards for Cinematography and TV Series I’ve been a part of as well as being nominated for seven BAFTAS on production teams I was part of as a Director.Particular skill in setting up shoots abroad. I've personally worked in 25 different countries and find it no problem in adapting to local conditions.I enjoy helping make programmes within institutions such as the police, prisons, schools, hospitals or councils and I am always looking for the extraordinary within the ordinary.Good knowledge of balancing editorial needs and compliance constraints.
