Hi! I'm a writer and actor from Salford. Most of my writing has been for teenagers - I began my writing career aged sixteen when my stage play 'Thing's we tell the hours after midnight' debuted at the Greater Manchester Fringe Festival. It went on to win three of the four awards it was subsequently nominated for. Since then, I have been working as writer in residence at Salford Arts Theatre, for whom I have written four plays, two short plays, a radio play and a screenplay. True to my northern upbringing, in my writing I enjoy exploring darker themes and underpinning them with comedy. This year I also experimented writing for children aged 7-12, my short story will be published in June 2022 by Stories of care and Manchester Metropolitan University. Read Less
