Samuel Palmer is a hugely gifted Director / Series Director. He is fantastic with contributors and presenters alike, drawing out the perfect sync and creating an atmosphere where people feel comfortable enough to show who they are. He has a great eye and makes things look beautiful, while never missing a beat of what you need for story development or factual content. He's calm, organised and creative in the edit and he's very good at building and supporting a team. Working with him is a rewarding and enjoyable experience
Sam is always one of the first people I contact at the start of a new production. He’s a very accomplished self shooter; someone who enjoys camerawork rather than it just being a necessity. He is full of good ideas, great with contributors and talent and a genuinely nice guy to have on a team. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
Sam is a very talented (both technically and creatively) PD. I have worked with him on several projects - none of them by any stretch of the imagination easy and he has never failed to deliver. Good with talent, a real contributor in terms of team work and has a very clear idea of what will best sell and tell a story. I really can't recommend him highly enough.
