Ben is a BAFTA-winning director & cinematographer who makes bold and distinctive films. His 2024 feature doc Atomic People was described by The Telegraph as, ‘the most devastating documentary you will see this year’.  
In April 2024, Ben won a BAFTA for The Detectives: Taking Down an OCG. The previous series The Detectives: Fighting Organised Crime had been nominated for Best Factual Series in 2022.
In 2023, Ben wrote & directed Dublin Narcos. Mixing scripted drama & documentary, this real-life crime epic for NOW TV was described by The Guardian as, “a brilliant 3-part documentary”, and was nominated for two BAFTAs, a Grierson & three RTS Craft awards for directing, editing and cinematography.
Across an 18 year career Ben has filmed and directed numerous episodes of returning factual series for Netflix/ Ch4/ BBC & others, as well as writing & directing drama shorts – such as the multi award-winning Vigilante, about the 2011 London Riots.
He is currently in the edit with a 90 minute Netflix documentary, and began his TV career as a camera assistant on cult comedy Peep Show.
