I am a highly experienced, series producer, producer/director and edit producer with a strong understanding of television production and management. An effective team leader with the energy and vision to produce engaging and ambitious programmes. My background in television journalism at the BBC and ITN is complemented by a documentary talent for creating powerful, emotional and memorable films. Recently, at Sky Vision, ITN Productions and Darlow Smithson, I have made films for Channel Four, Discovery, Sky 1, A&E Networks, PBS, the Smithsonian Channel and FIVE. This includes a series on how technology shaped the history of rock and roll, an American murder series, and subjects like the salvaging of the Costa Concordia cruise ship, the Santa Barbara campus killer Elliot Rodger, the disappearance of Malaysian airliner Flight MH370 and how Typhoon Haiyan devastated the Philippines. I have made films for all the major UK networks, including the BBC and ITV.l Geographic. From August 2014 to February 2015 I was series producer on a major murder series for Discovery.
