I am a creative with an illustration background and projects I have worked on in the past have included digital design, print making, surface and textiles design, designing and painting wall murals/scenic art and community craft workshops. I also work at Aston Villa Football Club as part of the match day staff team and have experience of working a variety of hospitality events.After university I realised that I wanted to use my creativity in a more hands on manner and be in a more social setting, this is when I started looking at ways to enter the world of TV and film production. I was lucky enough to get a place on the HBTI course last November. This course was tailored to train students for the world of TV, specifically sports broadcasting and help prepare them to apply for a job on The Commonwealth Games. I was fortunate enough to be picked amongst 150 HBTI Students to help on the games! Working with Sunset+Vine I was placed with the Sky NZ team and worked as a Runner going out with different ENG teams to different venues. Being a fan of sports, I loved working in that environment and would like to continue working on different sporting events (Specifically F1 and Football). Other events and productions I would be interested to be involved with include live music events and unscripted adventure programmes. I feel in this setting I would suit a more editorial role using my strengths in communication and organisation.As well as this I am very keen to move towards a more creative role and merge my creative skills with the world of TV and film. I would really enjoy the opportunity to explore the craft department and learn more about the variety of roles there are, I am particularly interested in a Costume Trainee opportunity and would welcome any experience!
