Louis is an emerging freelance filmmaker with a focus in directing, editing, writing, and researching. He holds a first-class honors degree in Film Studies from King’s College London. Since starting his freelance career in 2023, Louis has built a diverse portfolio within the film industry, gaining experience across various roles. Louis' expertise extends to various aspects of production, including researching stories, writing briefs & treatments, archival production, film editing and direction. As a Junior Film Editor at Atlantic Productions, he honed his editing skills on a high-end documentary production, while his ongoing role as a Script Reader for STUDIOCANAL has expanded his understanding of narrative development and script editing. Louis' work in writing and researching includes contributions to a feature documentary currently in development with support from Ffilm Cymru. He has directed and edited a documentary miniseries for the Foundling Museum, showcasing his versatility in adapting to various roles across film production. His work has been recognized with the Ffilm Cymru’s ‘HORIZONS: Emerging Filmmaker Development’ grant, which has significantly supported his documentary project. Driven by a passion for storytelling and a dedication to exploring diverse themes and techniques, Louis continues to refine his craft as a filmmaker.
