I graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2019 with a Second-Class Honours (Upper Division) in Film Production. I currently work at ITV as a Technical Assistant / Kit Room Technician and have done so since July 2021. I am looking for a practical role within a camera department to help further my knowledge and skillset and to push to become a Camera Operator.

My main responsibilities in the kit hire revolve around maintaining and fixing the equipment and assisting productions with any questions or problems they present me. I can operate a variety of cameras through this experience including an Arri Alexa Mini LF, Sony FX9 / FX6 / FS7 and Canon C300 / Xf305. I have experience of using cameras in an interview, studio and live environment. Before I worked at ITV I was a freelance camera operator for Alpha Live Limited where we shot motorsport racing live to YouTube and Facebook so I developed my skills and reactions in a high pressured environment.

I have also worked in various events and promos as well as being a runner on various shows whilst working at ITV and this has given me valuable experience which I want to build upon and push myself to develop a career I can excel at and enjoy. Due to the nature of my previous jobs I understand the importance of being diligent, reliable and flexible to ensure that every job is to the highest standard possible.
