Ben had only been working in TV for five weeks when I started working with him, however he rapidly proved himself to be the best Development Researcher/AP I've ever worked with by a significant margin. He's probably the best writer working in factual TV right now, to the point where I didn't even really need to check his work. His research skills are incredible and he will more than halve your workload in that regard. He is extremely hard-working and throws himself in to whatever you ask him to do with gusto. His hard work is already paying off in that he has already won his first US series commission on a development that was entirely his own work. Ben is also a tech-y person who can whip you up a deck in no time at all. If I ever needed a Researcher/AP I would hire Ben, and if anyone ever asked me who I would most recommend you hire in your development team I would say him. Although this may sound like hyperbole, I can assure you it's not; as a perfectionist I am by nature very critical of both my own work and anybody else's, but Ben's work always exceeded my expectations rather than fell short of it. So in conclusion I would say go ahead and hire Ben, you will not regret it!
