I am in my final year at the University of Salford studying Television and Radio Production. I have a huge passion for the TV, Radio and Sports Media industry, having grown up with entertainment shows like Strictly Come Dancing, and I love listening to podcasts related to sports I take an interest in, like the Formula 1 Chequered flag podcast on BBC 5 Live. Having started university, I have found that I love producing content and also presenting, both on the radio and in front of a camera, but I recognise that I still have so much of the industry and the technology to discover, which I’m very much looking forward to over the next few months and years. I am very enthusiastic to learn as much as I can in as many different areas and environments as I can.I produce my own show on Shock Radio, the student radio station at the University of Salford. My musical theatre-themed show goes live on air weekly, and I am loving the experience so far. Looking into the future, I am interested in pursuing a career in sports media as I have grown up watching and competing in many sports like swimming and hammer throw. My ultimate goal is to work in broadcasting for Formula One, as I have a passion for not only the sport, but to increase female representation within it. Having attended my first race at Silverstone this year, I was inspired by the platform that women are receiving both on and off the track. Read Less
