I’m a double Grierson nominated self-shooting Producer/Director with a strong instinct and an enthusiasm for people and the prospect of finding and telling compelling, honest and hard-hitting stories in a thought-provoking way. 

Trained in writing and directing drama, I have a thirst and specialism in making visually creative and playful films, seeking to blur lines between genres and practices.

My love for people and belief in seeing no stranger (in treating everyone with the respect you would offer to someone you know), enables me to connect honestly and meaningfully, creating space to find raw and intimate moments, with nothing left unsaid.

I’ve spent my career making films largely in and around the criminal justice system and I’m committed to continuing work in this field - with special attention around the rights of children and women.

Outside of this space, I have a strong desire to explore the climate justice movement. Specifically, the fight against oppression within Global South communities, as well as the intersectionality between humans and animals, and how we attempt to adapt and survive in a world not built for this climate.
