I'm an experienced Documentary and Drama Producer with strong research skills and eye for a story. I have two documentary focused Masters degrees in Art History from UCL and Cambridge, and am dedicated to presenting strong, global stories and characters through drama and arts, investigative, historical and social issue documentaries. I work internationally and have working visas for the USA and Canada.I produce, write and develop arts/current affairs/social interest documentaries and drama films, interactive content, and TV series. I'm excited by the art and culture of the southern American states, youth programming, feminism, and racial equality and experience, as well as the immersive possibilities of filmmaking.In 2016 I was chosen by the BFI, BAFTA, All3Media, Creative Skillset and the National Film and Television School for various talent and development initiatives for diverse and underrepresented voices in film and TV.I'm a 2017 Producers Guild of America Diversity Fellow, a 2017 Black List x Women In Film Episodic Lab Fellow, a 2017 Filmmaker-in-Residence at Arts, Letters & Numbers (New York) and a 2018 Sheffield Doc Fest Future Producer.This year I've also been a Featured Writer on The Black List, a Semi-Finalist for the Sundance Episodic Storytelling Lab, the TCN Incubator, the Screencraft Screenwriters Residency, and the Cinequest Screenwriting Award, as well as a Quarter-Finalist in the PAGE Awards.I'm currently working on a variety of documentary and fiction projects, including feminist interactive dark comedy ‘The Cramps,' ‘Yellow’ — a TV drama pilot about the birth of Yellow Journalism, ‘Marfa, TX’ — a feature and interactive documentary selected for Sheffield Doc Fest’s 2015 Devise To Deliver XX Programme, 'The Twins' — a feature documentary about Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and an untitled feature project about adolescent life during the Bangladesh War.I have full BBC training, and have independent production and film festival experience in documentary, drama, arts, music, history, interactive and immersive/VR production and development. I've worked internationally on feature films in both documentary and drama, as well as on TV programmes, events, festivals, shorts, series and online broadcasts.I have a background in academia, the music industry, journalism, and in the food, events and art worlds. I'm skilled in screenwriting across multiple genres, treatment development and grant applications. I'm confident pitching to a range of funders, executives and commissioners in creative ways at festivals, markets and beyond.I'm able to shoot and edit on multiple cameras and programs (X305, 5D & 7D, C300, Ricoh Theta, GoPro for 3D, Hero 360 + Final Cut, Avid, Premiere, Kolor).
