I have also worked in Footasylum during its busiest times (Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Boxing Day) as a stock room employee. This role included the constant running back and forth of delivering the items required for the customer, making sure the stockroom was up to standard/tidy, and taking deliveries early in the morning. I was often praised for being able to function under pressure and getting work done efficiently.

I volunteer in my church as a sound engineer, where we use an Allen and Heath D-Live s7000 sound desk. My roles include making sure the microphone packs have fully charged batteries, adjusting the volume of the live band to suit the requirement of people, adjusting what the singers can and can’t hear through their packs, and making sure each instrument has the desired sound by either controlling the gain or the frequency or even dampening the sound.

I have worked on a set during the making of a documentary that was filmed with Cocoa x Turn Up BC. As an audio assistant my role was setting up the equipment which included shotgun microphones, the sound desk, etc, and making sure the subject was miked up correctly (this included making sure the audio input was clear without any unwanted noise, as well as making sure the wiring was hidden).
