Read MoreI have always had a passion for working in the television industry and began my career in the Features and Events department at the BBC starting off as a researcher and working my way up to being a producer on both live and pre-recorded studio based shows. I particularly enjoyed working with on-screen talent whether that was booking high profile guests for talk shows, looking for new on-screen talent whilst working within a BBC development team or working with presenters when I was running my own talent management company.
For the last decade I have been able to utilise the skills, contacts and experience gained from working in television production and now work as a project manager and event organiser in the media industry. On-going projects include Channel 4's Commissioning Mentor Network and the Creative Cities Convention which I have been involved with since the events inception in 2018.
I thrive working on large scale, live events and thoroughly enjoyed being the event organiser of the Pact Indie Party, a one-off event to celebrate the UK indie production sector, part of Pact's 30th-anniversary celebrations. This was a 3 course dinner, awards ceremony (hosted by Hugh Dennis) and an afterparty with Boy George performing and DJ'ing at Old Billingsgate on the side of Thames for 700 guests
Read LessSusie is a very talented producer who I've been fortunate to work with over several years. She is an excellent team member who brings a great deal of energy and enthusiasm to any project or programme she is entrusted with. As a producer of talk shows and magazine programmes, she demonstrates strong editorial skills and she is diplomatic and persuasive when dealing with contributors, celebrities and their agents. In managing a team, Susie is effective in setting goals, delivering to agreed objectives, and appraising and developing staff working to her. Always calm and unflappable, Susie is quick to resolve any issues, and her high level of commitment and sense of humour ensure that she is a very valued member of any team.
