Andy has been working as an Editor and VFX Editor for over 25 years, starting out work with the Oscar winning VFX team at MillFilm on Ridley Scott's Gladiator. Since then he has worked on films with a host of talented directors including Jonathan Glazer, Edgar Wright, Richard Curtis and Dexter Fletcher. He has cut original and striking sequences for Joe Wright's The Soloist and Peter Strickland's Berberian Sound Studio, episodes of Warp Films/ Channel 4 comedy drama The Midnight Beast, a number of award winning shorts and the feature film Brakes, starring Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding.

Andy is a quick and versatile editor with an extensive knowledge of post production workflows and visual effects. He enjoys working on projects that sit outside of convention and require innovative ways of editing and VFX integration. He cut all 10 episodes of Prehistoric Planet for Apple TV+/ BBC Studios for which he used a mix of previs, puppetry & archive footage to build scenes that looked like they had been crafted from hours of natural history rushes, guiding the cuts through all stages of VFX development from storyboard to final online.
