I'm an ex-translator seeking to build experience and a career in broadcast television and radio. I'm fascinated by foreign cultures, particularly Russia and the former Soviet Union, and I love photography and writing. I would ideally like to work on projects documenting aspects of life in under-reported parts of the world, but I'm adaptable and eager to learn a variety of skills throughout television and radio at this stage.I have previously worked as a Production Coordinator for the Olympic Broadcasting Services at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia and prior to this, for a few months I was researching and developing stories (mainly with a Russia focus) for "Bear Grylls: Escape from Hell" at Betty TV. This followed a brief job as a junior researcher on "Comet of the Century" at Darlow Smithson Productions.Before this I worked as a translator and analyst in the Civil Service for a couple of years.
