I had the pleasure of working with MJ on the Channel 5 history series "A Farm Through Time" at Daisybeck Studios. Working across two of the three edits, she was hard working, diligent and showed great initiative. Working to a tight schedule, she worked creatively with the rushes to produce two great films. A safe pair of hands in the edit, MJ has a “can do” attitude and is a great asset to any production team. I'd happily work with her again if the opportunity ever arises.
MJ did a brilliant job edit producing on Dance Mums with Jennifer Ellison. She's a proper grown-up and worked exceptionally hard to make sure her shows were brilliant.
The schedule (as ever) was relentless and punishing but her enthusiasm never wained. We were creating a UK version of a US hit so keeping the US series in mind while making sure her cuts delivered for a UK audience was key - and she delivered brilliantly.
MJ is meticulous and someone who dots the I's and crosses the Ts', so much so that she was kept on by the Series Producer to oversee some additional final post.
I hired Mary-Jane to edit produce VT’s for the first series of The Apprentice You’re Fired. She came up with entertaining packages using limited material in super fast time. M-J is a good problem solver with a wealth of experience in all areas of TV and I would have no hesitation in working with her again or recommending her to anyone looking for creative, personable and hard working team member.
