I’m Shar Kale, a filmmaker and storyteller with a passion for creating thought-provoking, emotionally grounded films that explore human connection, culture, and our relationship with nature. With a background spanning documentary and narrative filmmaking, my work often bridges realism with empathy — capturing the extraordinary in the everyday. I hold a Master’s degree in Documentary Filmmaking and completed a Directing for Film and TV course at UCLA in 2024. Over the past three years, I’ve worked across multiple roles in Los Angeles — from Line Producer and Unit Production Manager to Sound Mixer and Script Supervisor — gaining a deep understanding of both the creative and logistical sides of production. Several of my projects have gone on to win awards at international film festivals. Whether I’m producing a short film, developing a documentary, or collaborating on a narrative project, my goal is always the same: to tell stories that spark empathy, awareness, and meaningful conversations on a global scale.
