Although I did work my way up to being a producer earlier in my career, I am now only really interested in question writing or compiling roles, preferably working remotely in the main. I would be happy to be studio-based during a recording period, as that was my background on They Think It's All Over, Mock The Week and Never Mind The Buzzcocks, but I made a deliberate step back from day-to-day involvement production roles when I moved to North Wiltshire a few years ago.I have three decades of experience in TV, which can be seen as a hindrance or a help. If you think it's more likely to be a help, then I may well be the right fit to write questions for your quiz show. I have written questions for Impossible (BBC1), Tipping Point (ITV) and the Australian version of Mastermind (BBC Australia). Previous to that, I had a varied career as a programme creator (They Think It's All Over, Buzzcocks, The Matt Lucas Awards), writer and producer (TTIAO, Mock The Week, Liar), and as a comedy and drama writer.While my preference is to be based at home, I live just 35 minutes by car from Bristol, and would be prepared to relocate on a short-term basis during production.
