I am a highly experienced, RTS award winning, Emmy & 2x BAFTA nominated Director, Edit Producer and Series Director.  I have a proven track record of consistently delivering premium quality films and series for international streamers (including Netflix, Amazon and Apple TV) and major broadcasters.

I love to make bold, attention-grabbing films filled with character and style. I've had global #1 hits on Netflix ("Trainwreck: Poop Cruise"), won the RTS "Best Single Documentary" ("Anton Ferdinand: Football, Racism & Me" BBC One), and have also been nominated for an Emmy ("Long Was Home" Apple TV), multiple BAFTAs, and Griersons. I especially enjoy the challenge of bringing a fresh vision, new ideas and an original style to my projects.

I’m a highly versatile film-maker who has spent my career moving between different genres, which means I'm as happy honing strong past-tense narratives from interviews and archival material, as self-shooting powerful and insightful verité/observational films. I've also worked with a lot of high-profile talent and pride myself on building super strong, trusting relationships with all my contributors, be they Premiership footballers or top academics in their field.

My films always have a very strong visual style and I love setting a strong look for a series. I am an excellent self-shooter but also enjoy working with top DOP's and directing crew. I love conducting Master Interviews which are as full of warmth and character as they are foresnic and detailed, never missing a story beat and always shaping a riveting narrative structure. I'm excellent in the Edit, a strong writer, legally astute and a hard worker.

Prior to directing I worked in Development for many years successfully getting hours and hours of series and singles commissioned for both UK broadcasters (BBC, ITV, Chanel 4, Five) and International broadcasters (A&E, Nat Geo, Discovery) at companies like Raw TV (Nat Geo's "Real Prison Breaks", A&E's "The Fugitive Chronicles") & Firecracker Films.
