Tomas Pece is a South Wales and London-based filmmaker, raised in South Wales, specialising in documentaries, weddings, and sports films. He picked up a camera at 16, making a documentary about his Italian grandparents' life in the UK, a project that earned early recognition and sparked a lifelong passion. That led him to Arts University Bournemouth, where three years of training sharpened his style across a wide range of genres.
Alongside filmmaking, Tom trained as a chef in professional kitchens across the UK and Japan. During almost five months in Japan, he also won Best Cultural Film at a Japanese film festival, proof that his two disciplines share helpful similarities. Living these experiences has only driven new ideas and motivations around film, and that increased curiosity still drives everything he shoots and explores. Read Less
