Read More Lucy Blunt is a writer, producer and actor with experience across stage and screen. She is the Founder and Artistic Director of Theatre Ninety Nine, an independent theatre company through which she develops, writes and produces new work. In 2025, she wrote and produced her first full production, Kill For The Part, at London’s Canal Café Theatre, which sold out and received 4-star reviews, including being described as “Funny from beginning to end.”
Lucy is particularly interested in developing original comedy for screen and is currently writing a comedy pilot. She is keen to build her experience on the other side of the camera, particularly in writing, development and production, and is interested in opportunities that combine her creative and performance experience.
Alongside her writing and producing work, Lucy has extensive performance experience, including a national tour of Macbeth with Quantum Theatre playing Lady Macbeth. She has also worked on film sets both in front of and behind the camera, appearing in a short film and as a featured extra on larger productions, as well as working as a barista in craft services at Pinewood and Longcross Studios. This has given her an understanding of both the creative and practical sides of production.
