I am a registered Child Chaperone with Durham County Council, with a background in education, childcare and supporting children and young people with a range of needs. I hold a BA in Working with Children, Young People and Families and have experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant across a variety of schools, supporting children’s learning, development, wellbeing and individual needs.
I have experience working as a child chaperone on an ITV television production, supporting young performers, including children with additional needs. This has strengthened my interest in working within the television and film industry, and I am keen to build on this experience by taking on further chaperone opportunities across television, film and other productions.
I understand the importance of safeguarding, creating a safe and supportive environment, and helping children feel comfortable and confident while working in an unfamiliar and often busy setting. I pride myself on being approachable, patient, reliable and adaptable, with a genuine passion for helping children have a positive experience on set while ensuring their welfare remains a priority.
Alongside my chaperone work, I would also welcome opportunities to explore other areas of television and film production. With my degree, experience working with children and families, and growing knowledge of the production environment, I am particularly interested in roles involving child performer welfare, casting, production support, inclusion and working with children and young people behind the scenes.
I am enthusiastic about developing my experience within the industry, meeting new production teams and building lasting professional relationships. I would love the opportunity to contribute to future productions, whether as a child chaperone or in other roles where my skills, experience and passion for supporting children and young people can be put to good use.
