PD / Producer (w/Edit Producer experience) working primarily in broadcast television on observational documentary and specialist factual projects. I shoot on FX9, FS7, C300, XF205, XF305, FS5, GoPro, DJI osmo.My focus is communicating scientific complexity through human stories, working with specialists from various disciplines including volcanology, glaciology, meteorology and engineering. I also take a very human approach to filmmaking which allows me to gain the trust of survivors of environmental trauma, emergency responders and other people who work in harsh environments. I specialise in examining lives as they intersect with extreme environments and natural hazards and have filmed a winter season on an Icelandic fishing boat, two hurricane seasons in the USA and Mexico and documented cutting edge science taking place on volcanoes and glaciers.Edit experience (‘The Supervet’), USA I-VISA (until 2023) & Extreme Environments Training.
