I have recently finished directing and producing the Frozen/Arctic episode of ‘The Americas’, a ten-part natural history series for the BBC and NBC Universal, set to air in early 2025. Over twelve years I have worked on a range of factual entertainment programming, specialising in natural history, science, and educational documentaries. I am experienced in scripting, edit-producing, shoot planning, expedition risk assessment, developing treatments, sourcing stories, liaising with contributors and scientists, and researching/procuring archive footage. I am confident with access and contract negotiation, conducting interviews, sound recording and second camera work for B-roll and behind-the-scenes content. Additionally, I have helped develop custom cameras for both underwater and topside shoots, and have led UK and international shoots, most recently remote expeditions, including in the high Arctic. I enjoy coming up with innovative solutions to seemingly insurmountable problems, and I hold remote first aid and health and safety qualifications. Read Less
