I am a diligent Series Director with over 10 years of experience in accessing and crafting stories in highly sensitive scenarios. Having worked on BAFTA-winning and BAFTA-nominated series’, I take pride in self-shooting to the highest of standards and my ability to shape impactful stories, whether unfolding or retrospective. I’m highly experienced in negotiating access and maintaining transparent long-standing relationships with contributors and national organisations. Whilst leading a team, I strive to mentor and support my colleagues according to their individual needs. And throughout my career I have built close working relationships with some of the industry’s most renowned DOPs and editors. I believe that when handled well, documentaries can be cathartic and empowering for their subjects and I dig deep find a sense of hope in the stories that I tell - even within the most challenging circumstances.
