As a PD and self shooter I’ve clocked up over forty factual, fact ent and documentary credits for major broadcasters, including BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Discovery and Smithsonean Channel in the US, but I learned what it takes to make a good show from my experience as a young Editor, relying on my instinct for recognising workable storylines from endless piles of rushes. Harbouring ambitions of shooting and directing my own films, I broke out of the edit suite, honed my producing skills and learned the craft of camera work from some of the best DOP’s in the business.
