As a Senior PD & Edit Producer, I am passionate about crafting compelling factual and fact-entertainment programming. My approach is compassionate and unflinching, unafraid to tackle difficult subjects - with a big dash of playfulness when appropriate. I thrive on creating and shaping first series, guiding pilots through to commissioned series, and establishing the distinctive style and tone that define a show’s identity - and create those ‘talked about' moments.Over the past two years, my career highlights include working as Senior PD on the first series of The Nevermets (6 x 60 for Channel 4), where I oversaw the narrative and filming of all eight couples who had met online and were filmed meeting in person for the very first time. One of the stories I filmed and directed, featuring Leah from Scotland and Chad from North Dakota, USA, gained significant attention and was featured on Celeb Gogglebox for two consecutive weeks.The documentary series Code Blue, produced by Multistory for ITV, provided an in-depth look into the challenging and emotionally charged work of South Wales Police during their live murder investigations. One of the most poignant stories featured was The Murder of Logan Mwangi, a heart-wrenching case involving a five-year-old boy who was reported missing by his mother, only for her to be charged with his murder nearly three months later. This film was a deeply important narrative to tell, highlighting the exhaustive efforts of the police to uncover the truth and bring justice for Logan. It was an honor to work alongside both the police and Logan's family to document this tragic yet critical investigation. The documentary was recognized for its impact, winning the Outstanding Documentary Film award at the 2023 True Crime Awards and receiving a nomination for BAFTA Cymru. I pride myself on forming and maintaining strong relationships with contributors from all walks of life and gaining access to hard to reach establishments and professionals including surgeons, hospitals and police forces. I shoot beautifully and with visual flair on most cameras including FX6 (preferred), FX3, FS7, FX9, and C300s. I've taken entires series, 1 hr singles and many short VTs through the edit. I have good AVID edit skills and often rough cut assemble my interviews before bringing in an editor.  I have solid journalistic instincts creating crafted, layered stories and I thrive in environments that require a good level of emotional intelligence and sensitivity. My background in making commercials has given me an eye for strong creative visuals and I strive for the highest production values in my work.  Prior to working in TV I worked as a Creative Producer working closely with advertising agencies and major brands (Bacardi, Vodafone, CRUK) creating commercials, campaigns and audience specific content. I have extensive overseas filming experience and hold a current iVisa for the USA. Co-Founder of Female Skillshare Collective, empowering women to share thier skills in the TV industry.
