I'm an Exec Producer/Series Editor/Showrunner with 25 years experience of primetime award-winning TV production. I am looking to helm a factual, features or documentary series that tells an interesting story, with production companies and broadcasters that recognise and reward hard work and attention to detail. I hope to work with indies who appreciate a senior freelancer who wants to be fully involved in the entire creative and organisational process, and who’s insight and experience are valued and respected. I hope to work for broadcasters who aim to create talked-about television, who are willing to trust viewers’ intelligence, and who embrace the responsibilities they have to those who take part in their programmes. Most importantly, I want to work with individuals who are bubbling with enthusiasm, and can remain calm and optimistic whatever is thrown at us. Outside of TV I'm a trained suicide prevention counsellor, and volunteer with a charity helping those in distress. It gives me a practical working knowledge of the safe management of mental health issues.
