I am a former television news journalist turned writer/producer.Despite growing up with dreams of becoming a footballer, or a rock star, my dodgy left foot and a lack of rhythm lead to me working as a broadcast journalist instead – in fact if you’d been up really early in the late noughties you may have heard my voice on the ITV News, or giving you your sports news on both the BBC and numerous commercial radio stations.Sadly I wanted the freedom to be more creative (and in those days making things up was frowned upon in journalism).  So, I started writing comedy. My first script “Conny”, was picked up by Sharon Horgan and optioned by Bwark and Merman.Latterly I had a script commissioned by Sky; “The Master Forger”. This has now lead to the development on an anthology series called “Epic Failures”, which Sky are currently considering.In the past few years I have written and produced a number of short films which picked up numerous festival honours including Best International Film at the International Black Film Festival. As well as writing and producing a short online series called the “Pyjama Diaries”.More recently I have just finished production on. “Everything I Ever Wanted To Tell My Daughter About Men”. A film is made up of sixteen shorts, all directed by a different high-profile female director, with the aim of supporting survivors of abuse. Read Less
