I'm a Lancashire / Yorkshire border based Producer / Director. I have my own kits- FS7, lenses, lights, radio mics, slider etc and a wealth of experience in formatted or loosely formatted TV, Ob-Doc, Actuality and Entertainment Production.I'm described by others as a 'calm' PD, who gives a team encouragement, focus and support and have been filming broadcast since 1996 and used to a whole variety of filming work... animals, celebrity, property, reality, medical and health settings, ob doc, formatted, daytime, night time, medical, and children.As a P/D I understand my role is not just camera operator and sound recordist (and lighting, and Go Pro rigger), but also to produce and direct in varying degrees what is happening in front of the camera; sometimes alone, sometimes in a team.As an Edit Producer I give support, planning and structure to my Editors. I'm realistic on footage versus programme time, and giving clear and precise paper edits.I appreciate the work I do is for a customer- the production company, commissioner and channel, and the viewer.
