Working with Marco was a great experience. He’s an editor with a finely-tuned sense of story and pace, always prepared to go the extra mile to make the programme the best it can be. He’s fast, creative and always prepared to think around a problem to find a solution. Marco is also an excellent communicator and collaborator. Even though our edit was remote, we quickly established a productive and enjoyable workflow. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with Marco again!
It was great working with Marco recently on a C5 feature length history doc. The challenge was this; how do we visualise a period weather disaster (London, 1928) that only exists as a few clips and the odd still? In a pressured edit, Marco worked with stock footage, period clips and drone shots and crafted dramatic visual sequences that added another level to the doc. The show (1928: The Year the Thames Flooded) went on to win the night on C5 and beat BBC2 and C4 to boot. Thanks Marco! Highly recommended :)
Working with Marco on a 6-month long edit for Discovery has been fantastic. He's very fast, creative, and incredibly diligent and hard working - all of which has taken any stress out of the project and made it a very enjoyable working environment! He's got a great ear for music and has a very collaborative approach which it makes it a pleasure to work through any story twists and turns and respond to feedback notes. I hope to work with Marco again very soon!
Marco is an outstanding editor, brimming with enthusiasm, creativity, and a proactive mindset. He quickly adapted to a new format and delivered a show that was not only expertly cut but also highly innovative. I’m looking forward to working with Marco again in the future.
