Edit Assistant working within Unscripted TV. I have previously worked as a freelance Junior Editor on a wide range of factual projects for example a documentary focusing on teenagers' lives in Bradford and a video on Quranic Illuminations.

Series I have worked on as an Edit Assistant include 24 Hours in A&E and Ambulance. I have also provided holiday cover on Morning Live. One of my proudest moments was when I edited two storylines for Air TV’s Helicopter ER, one of which was broadcast in series 8 with the other featuring in series 9.

I enjoy working on dedicated series, but I also pride myself on my ability to switch to and from different projects to meeting deadlines at short notice. I am organised, always willing to learn and I am never put off by how difficult something is. It is this attitude and these skills I would bring to any position.

In 2022 I completed the Screenskills' Unscripted Edit Assistant and Technical Operators Scheme, which included a two-week placement at Picture Shop to gain greater knowledge of post-production. I have also been a member of the Screenskills mentoring programme and the Bradford Filmmakers25 project.
