Specialising in science, engineering and history I will thoroughly research any topic, write scripts, draw storyboards and produce detailed briefing documents to translate complex subject material into visually stunning and factually accurate graphics. My experience as a producer before specialising in VFX allows me to see where and how VFX will (and won’t) benefit the narrative. Confident working on my own or leading a VFX team, I set up bespoke workflows to efficiently manage the VFX development, briefing, feedback and delivery process. I quickly develop close relationships with edit teams and animation studios to ensure large volumes of shots, across multiple episodes, are produced to the highest standard, are factually accurate and are delivered on time and on budget. Read LessIf you want a VFX producer, you’ll go far before you find anybody as capable as Matt Chancellor. He has meticulous attention to detail, a deep understanding of the technology, and his spreadsheets tracking the progress of VFX sequences from planning to delivery are a thing of beauty. He has just completed work on an ambitious series for Nat Geo which involved creating life-size virtual sharks to interact with the host and scientists. And he’s easy to work with – diligent, attentive, and thorough. I would ask Matt to come back in a heartbeat.
