Daniel has been writing for NewsRevue, the Guinness World Record Breaking, satirical song and sketch show for just over a year and has become one of our most prolific and successful writers during that period. Obviously one needs to be a talented comedy writer but I believe another intrinsic reason for Daniel's hit rate is due to his on-going dedication and commitment to the show. He makes the effort to come and watch each new run (we re-cast every 6 weeks) so he can see the actors we have cast and can therefore write accordingly to their strengths. One of the highlights for any writer of NewsRevue is to have their material selected for the best of the year show in a 340 seat theatre at the Pleasance. Daniel had three sketches in last year's sell-out, 5 star reviewed show. He also made the trip up to Edinburgh to see the show. I have been producing the show since 2001 and there are some songs and sketches that become NewsRevue classics. I think Daniel's Tory Mafia sketch - Is noa bribe, isa budget can already be classed as a NewsRevue classic.
