I have a deep passion for storytelling and a proven track record across factual-entertainment and observational documentary. My credits include BBC3’s Boot Dreams, HGTV’s Sarah Beeny’s Renovate Don’t Relocate and Ch4’s Flirty Dancing. A great deal of my experience has been across property programming, dating and wedding shows, all of which lean toward a mixture of formatted and observational style filming.

I’m an adept shooter, both solo and multi-camera. I’m quick to pick up technical skills and have a keen interest in this area. I’m confident directing crew, talent and contributors and able to produce stories on the ground in real-time. I’m experienced in scripting, shoot planning and liaising with the edit during post-production.

One of my key strengths is communication, I’m highly organised and able to ensure sound collaboration within my team. In an industry that now involves teams working solo, both on location and now remotely, I consider this to be one of the most important components of a successful project.

With extensive casting experience behind me, I’ve often been a reliable main point of contact for contributors from casting stages, through filming and into post-production. I enjoy the challenge of weaving narratives in real-life and I have strong interpersonal skills, which allow me to get the best out of contributors and talent.

My experience lies predominantly in fast-turnaround filming. I’m a quick thinker and able to solve problems at short notice with a calm and positive attitude.

I’ve recently gained a qualification in Health and Wellbeing Coaching, which I hope to implement more in my work as a producer. Whilst we’re all in this industry for the love of creating brilliant content, there’s no doubt it can be a real challenge.
