I am an Award-winning Series Director, Producer/Director and Shooting PD with over 20 years' experience creating premium observational documentaries, factual entertainment and reality series for the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, Netflix, Prime Video, U&Dave, FOX and major international broadcasters.
My career has been built around leading ambitious productions from development through production and into post, combining editorial leadership with premium visual storytelling.
I have extensive experience directing high-profile talent, embedding with contributors to capture authentic observational stories, leading multi-camera teams in the UK and internationally, and defining the editorial and visual style of both new and returning series.
Alongside directing and shooting, I bring more than 15 years' experience as an Edit Producer, giving me a comprehensive understanding of story structure, narrative development and series delivery. This dual production and post-production experience enables me to make strong editorial decisions in the field while ensuring every story is captured with the edit firmly in mind.
Trusted by leading production companies and Executive Producers to lead premium factual productions, launch new formats and oversee complex editorial storytelling, I am known for building strong relationships with contributors, providing calm editorial leadership under pressure and delivering cinematic, character-led storytelling that combines emotional authenticity with visual ambition.Meyrick was a Producer/Director on the Liverpool edition of the Eurovision Song Contest that the BBC/BBC Studios hosted. It was my first time working with Meyrick and he really impressed me. He was very creative with loads of ideas, and went the extra mile both in terms of style and content.
