A background of working on investigative, consumer and popular crime programming. Skills include the ability to source and maintain relationships with contributors and high-profile talent. Knowledgeable in confidential and sensitive subject matter and origination / development of new storylines. I have specialist interests in history, popular culture and crime / policing programmes, particularly combined in the telling of original human-interest stories. I have needed to develop abilities to master complex subject matter quickly. I feel comfortable working with authoritative programme contributors, such as academics and subject matter experts. I have experience working with victims of crime, bereaved families, senior detectives and the Home Office. My professional ambition is to produce specialist factual documentaries in a well-reputed production unit.
