I worked on this reactive crash doc for 5 days - from commissioning, to development - production and then post production. The crash doc took 5 days to work on at the beginning stages of the Covid-19 pandemic where there was a great deal of uncertainty about how the virus was effecting the elderly. As imagined, this was an incredibly sensitive documentary to work on due to the nature of the environment at the time, changing Gov't & medical guidelines, the subject and the demographic being heard. I cast elderly people from from all walks of life, across the UK and field produced whilst filming. |
