I'm a Scotsman, normally living between London and Glasgow. Though I also have a lot of experience working remotely on productions based all around the country.

My TV roots are in studio entertainment, quiz, comedy ents, and food shows. But over the last few years I have been working primarily as both an Edit Producer and Archive Producer, and this has translated into working on an increasing number of documentary/factual projects, either in the edit shaping storylines and writing comms, or handling the archive – sourcing, licensing and cutting material from just about every source there is.

I still love entertainment, but I come from a serious academic background (MSci/BA Hons in Natural Sciences, Cambridge University, 2011), and I’m perfectly happy tackling more high-brow subjects too.

I'm also a capable self-editor (Avid, Premier, & FCPX) and have taken additional Edit Producer training courses (Jo Woolf’s Edit Producing Masterclass, 2017; Patrick Uden’s Commentary Masterclass, 2023).
