I’m a Director and Series Producer with exec experience, and 20 years making documentaries for ITV, BBC and S4C.

Most of my work is primetime: series and single films that take on difficult subjects and still reach a wide audience. Most recently, Brianna: A Mother’s Story won Outstanding Documentary at this year’s True Crime Awards.

As a director, I bring stories to life with a clear idea of how each film should look and feel. I’m at my best winning access and trust, whether that’s rare access to police investigations or intimate interviews with families at the hardest moments of their lives. I’m also used to working with high-profile talent.

I’m also an experienced edit producer, so I know how to get a story working in the cutting room, especially detailed, heavily researched ones.

As a Series Producer, I’ve led large creative teams on both series and singles, and I know how to get the most out of a budget without it showing on screen.

Development is a big part of what I do: coming up with programme ideas, trying out new techniques and pitching to commissioners. I’ve taken ideas from first pitch all the way through to commission.

I’ve made films across true crime, current affairs, politics, contemporary history, obs doc and factual entertainment. Read Less
