Experienced in Shooting, Producing, Shoot set-up, Casting and working on incredibly tight budgets!!
For the last few years I've excelled in working with small teams and managing everything from casting, shoot set-up, editorial and shooting, often working closely with just a director and Exec. This has really pushed me to take on a lot of responsibilities and swim in the deep end of making quality programmes. I have been recognised as a shooting producer or DV director in all of my credits (8) in 2024 and aiming to keep on moving up!
I'm a strong shooter with a lot of experience in filming actuality and glossy interviews. I enjoy getting creative with my shots and breaking the mould. I am at the stage in my career where I can be relied on to film independently having a lot of experience in setting up interviews, managing audio on my own, setting up lighting, directing sequences and managing contributors. I am always looking for opportunities to step up and take on more responsibility and input into my work.
I am very personable and have found that I can work well with any crew, presenter, or contributor. Setting up shoots quickly and efficiently is a particularly strong asset of mine. I've come from a casting/researching/journalism background and moved into location work so have a wide variety of skills. I am also very good under pressure and find there is no situation I haven't been able to handle yet!
